Introduction
Day 7 we started out by going to Hauna Koa Gulch, the view was from afar but it was still amazing. Then we climbed down Pololu Valley where we took note of the grain sand sizes as we walked further away from the beach and into the valley where we sat upon tree roots eating our lunches. After we climbed back up we stopped near an old library that across the street had the statue of Kamehameha I. We continued on our journey to get a taste of the locally made ice cream at the Kohala Coffee Mill. As the day grew later, we found ourselves walking a red sand path to the Mookini Heiau which we were able to walk inside and look at its remains. Then we went to the Po`ukohola Heiau which had a very informative learning center about the ways of life surrounding it. We topped off the day at Hapuna Beach with ultimate frisbee and taking a dip in the ocean as the sun sunk below the horizon.
